Shipping policy
Delivery Guarantee
We guarantee delivery only to the address you provide via the shipping method you select. Shipments that you re-direct and shipments to incorrect or incomplete addresses cannot be guaranteed to deliver on time. We highly recommend that you have your order arrive several days prior to your event. If you need your order delivered on a specific date, please select UPS Next Day Air service. Orders not shipped via UPS Next Day Air may arrive earlier than planned, and may spoil a surprise!
CHRISTMAS SHIPPING UPDATE:
For delivery by Christmas, orders placed five (5) business days before Christmas at noon PST will arrive by Christmas if 2nd Air or faster shipping options are selected. Ground shipping will still work for southern California destinations through noon five (5) business days before Christmas. Delivery in Southern California
All of our products are shipped from the Santa Ynez Valley in California. For delivery within Santa Barbara County, UPS will override 2nd Day Air options and typically deliver your product by ground transportation the next business day. Again, the only way to guarantee delivery on a specific date is to select UPS Next Day Air. Please bear this in mind when selecting your shipping option.
Please note that in some cases, depending on the products ordered and the shipping address, we may opt to ship via USPS in lieu of UPS Ground. We will do this only in an effort to ensure freshness and quality for our products when they arrive at their destination.
International Shipping
The Solvang Bakery website (www.SolvangBakery.com) only processes orders shipped within the United States. For international shipping (including Canada), please contact us directly at (805) 770-0089. We’ll be happy to assist you directly with your international shipping requirements.
Hand Delivery
The Solvang Bakery can provide hand-delivery in California from as far north as San Luis Obispo, and as far south as Los Angeles. Please contact us directly at (805) 770-0089 for a quote.
Re-Delivery Fees
If a delivery attempt has been made, but is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address or unavailable recipient, we will need to arrange for a re-delivery. We will contact you to schedule a re-delivery, and you will be charged for an additional delivery per the above pricing information.
