Kransekage Cookies

Traditional Danish Kransekage isn't only for weddings and New Year's Eve! You can enjoy these individual pieces of the Danish specialty without buying the whole cake. Made by hand from ground almonds, eggs, and sugar, then drizzled with royal icing, they're hard to the touch, but soft when you bite into.

This time-tried favorite of the Danes and Norwegians. Enjoy the creamy richness of the marzipan inside (almond paste) and the delicious outer crust...and Kransekage is gluten-free!
